12kg heroin recovered, 3 arrested
Police have apprehended 3 persons and recovered 12kg heroin from their possession.
According to reports, all three smugglers were on their way to deliver the consignment of drugs.
Director general of police, Punjab Gaurav Yadav tweeted that the alleged accused were in touch with Pakistan-based smugglers.
He further informed that a FIR was registered at police station Lopoke adding that the investigations had been launched.
