festival slated to be celebrated from October 7.

Reviewing the arrangements for the 9-day mega annual festival Reddy directed the engineering and electrical departments to erect giant electrical and floral depictions of various mythological forms of Lord Venkateswara and Sri Mahavishnu at various pilgrim congregation points across Tirumala.

TTD had already announced that the annual Brahmotsavams will be held in Ekantham inside the Tirumala temple premises this year too due to Covid-19 pandemic and that none of the processions will be taken out in the four mada streets encircling the main temple complex.

Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy listed out the important days during the annual Brahmotsavams which include Dwajarohanam on October 7, Garuda Seva on October 11, golden chariot on October 12, Rathotsavam on October 14 and the Chakrasnanam on October 15.

As a customary practice, chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will present silk robes on behalf of the state government to Lord Venkateswara during the annual Brahmotsavams eve on October 11.
