TDP raises bogus voter allegations

Amaravati: Opposition TDP has alleged that YSRC leaders are involved in large-scale enrolment of bogus voters in the graduates’ constituencies for MLC elections. The party further claimed that district collectors and SPs were not responding to their complaints despite providing evidence. TDP politburo member Varla Ramaiah said they will meet the chief electoral officer (CEO) to lodge a complaint against the Tirupati district collector and SP. He alleged that many of the bogus voters did not even clear SSC. Varla Ramaiah said they have submitted the names of those who are not eligible to be enrolled as voters, to the collector and the district election authority.TNN
