TDP: GIS is meant to mislead people

Amaravati: The TDP has said that the industrial summit in Visakhapatnam is only for political gains and not in the interests of the state. In a ‘fact sheet’ released on Thursday, the party alleged that several industrialists were harassed and made to leave the state in the last four years. “The government is holding the summit only to mislead the public. Several noted industrialists were not allowed to invest in the state and left. The foundation stone for Kadapa steel plant was laid twice, but work on the plant did not move any further,” TDP state president K Atchnnaidu and former minister Nakka Anand Babu told reporters. TNN
