Srikalahasti legislator's massive rally before nomination blocks Swarnamukhi bridge

TIRUPATI: YSRCP legislator Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy filed his nomination with utmost fanfare at the Srikalahasti assembly constituency in Tirupati district on Saturday.

Tens of thousands of his followers and YSRCP cadres took part in a massive rally led by Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy before he filed his nomination on Saturday.

The rally was so huge that the entire stretch of the Swarnamukhi river bridge was filled with the followers who took part in the rally.


Speaking to reporters after filing his nomination, Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy exuded confidence that Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's charishma and the welfare schemes launched by the YSRCP in the last five years which has immensely benefited lakhs of people across the Srikalahasti assembly constituency will help in securing his second consecutive victory on a trot in the upcoming elections.


"As an MLA I have been accessible to the people of the constituency throughout the last five years. Even during the distressing COVID pandemic times, I had extensively reached out to the people when they desperately needed support. Apart from doling out numerous welfare schemes, the Srikalahasti constituency has also witnessed progress in terms of development which never happened during the four decades odd rule of the Bojjala family", Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy added.
