The temple priests performed rituals attached the Kalyanam amidst chanting of religious hymns. Priests said that it is rare to see Chitta Nakshtram fall on Dwadasi thidi which is considered as most auspicious.

They explained that four pournamis occur in every year and Sri Narasimha Jayanthi would be celebrated on the pournami day in

masam. Since Sri Narasimha Swamy temple was also part of Sri Venkateswara Swamy complex, the temple trustees decided to organize special Kalyanam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy to mark the rare and auspicious day on Thursday. Priests said that special kalyanam would help expedite the developmental works initiated within the village and temple.

Priests brought the puja material from the residence of founder trustees, Krishna Reddy and Sudha Reddy before launching the special kalyanam. The devotees, villages participated in the procession carried out from Sudha Reddy’s residence to the temple. Gramotsavam was held after the kalyanam. Temple authorities distributed teertha, prasadam to the devotees who attended the celestial wedding.
