TIRUPATI: Limited and are all set to establish their processing units at chief minister ’s home constituency, Kuppam, in Chittoor district.
The representatives of Shreeja and Mother Dairy met the chief minister at his new residence in Kuppam on Monday and held a detailed discussion about their expansion plans. After the meeting, the CM posted the outcome of the meeting on his X handle.
“Met the representatives of Shreeja Milk Producers Organisation and Mother Dairy at Kuppam. We discussed their transformative investment plans to achieve zero poverty, which aligns with our vision for Swarna Andhra,” Naidu stated.
“In line with this vision, the companies have been allotted land to establish their industrial units at Kuppam. Shreeja Milk Producers Organisation will set up a dairy and an animal feed processing unit, and Mother Dairy will set up a fruit pulp processing unit. Together, the two companies will generate employment for 8,000 persons,” the CM asserted.
The CM exuded confidence that these initiatives will strengthen the rural economy by directly procuring milk and horticulture produce from the farmers and will help enhance their income.
Asserting that both Shreeja Milk Producers Organisation and Mother Dairy will ground their projects within the next 18 months, Naidu underlined that these investments are part of a broader agreement previously signed with the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) to support inclusive development in the region.
