Massive reshuffle of IAS officers in Andhra Pradesh, eight districts got new collectors

AMARAVATI: In a major reshuffling of IAS officers, the Andhra Pradesh government late on Thursday transferred at least 57 officers to the new places.


Eight districts got new collectors. Many senior officials have also been shifted.

This is considered to be one of the major shuffling of IAS officers in the last one year. Special chief secretary(labour and employment) Anantharamu has been posted as Special CS to minorities welfare department. Senior IAS RP Sisodia has been posted as Director General of APHRDI. AP Genco MD B Sridhar has been posted as AP Pollution Control Board member secretary. Nellore district collector KVN Chakradhar Babu has been posted as MD, AP Genco. Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration Pravin Kumar has been posted as vice-chairman and MD of APIIC. Vizinagaragaram, Nellore, Sri Satya Sai, Ananthapuram, Kurnool and Chittoor districts got new collectors. Ananthapuram collector S Nagalakshmi has been shifted as Vizianagaram collector while Kurnool district collector P Koteswara Rao has been posted as Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA). Sri Satya Sai district collector P Basanth Kumar has been posted as MD of AP Swachh Andhra Corporation while Vizianagaram district collector Surya Kumari has been posted as commissioner of Panchayat Raj. The incumbent commissioner of Panchayath Raj, Kona Sasidhar has been posted as Secretary, IT and ITES. Skill Development Corporation MD S Satyanarayana has been posted as endowments commissioner while the incumbent commissioner Dr Hari Jawahari Lal has been moved as secretary to government for labour department. Intermediate board secretary MV Seshagiri Babu has been posted as labour commissioner. K Harshavardhan has been made full-time MD Of Sports Authority of AP while allowing him to continue as director of SC Commission. IT and ITES secretary Saurabh Guar has been posted as principal resident commissioner of AP Bhavan in New Delhi. Chittoor district collector M Harinarayana has been posted as Nellore district collector while Bapatla district collector P Vijayakrishnan has been posted as director of social welfare. Krishna district collector P Ranjith Basha has been moved to Bapatla as district collector. Former SAAP MD N Prabhakara Reddy has been shifted to CCLA as joint secretary. Shagili Shan Mohan is new district collector for Chittoor while director industries G Srijana has been made district collector for Kurnool. GVMC Commissioner P Rajababu has been brought as district collector to Krishna district. Eluru joint collector P Arun Babu has been posted as new collector for Sri Satya Sai district. Employment director Lavanya Veni is new joint collector of Eluru.

M. Vijaya Suneetha is transferred and posted as Director, women Development & Child Welfare while A. Siri is posted as Joint Collector of Parvathipuram Manyam District. J. Venkata Murali, Joint Collector, West Godavari District is transferred posted as Director, Tribal Welfare. S. Rama Sundar Reddy, Joint Collector, Kurnool District is transferred as Joint Collector, West Godavari District. C.M. Saikanth Varma, Joint Collector, YSR District is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of M.A & U.D Department for posting him as Commissioner, GVMC. Smt Thameem Ansaria, Joint Collector, Annamayya District has been directed to report in General Administration Department. Chamakuri Sreedhar, Joint secretary (Vigilance), O/o CCLLA is transferred as Joint Collector, Prakasam district. Venkateswar, Joint collector Chittoor District is transferred as Commissioner, APVVP. V. Vinod Kumar has been posted as Managing Director, A.P.Skill Development Corporation. Navya, P.O., ITDA, Seethampeta is transferred as Director, Employment & Training while Sampath Kumaris posted as Joint collector of NTR District. Narapu Reddy Mourya has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation. Prudhvitej Immadi has been posted as CMD, APEPDCL while P. Sreenivasulu is posted as Joint Collector, Chittoor District. School education commissioner S. Suresh Kumar has been asked to handle the charge of Intermediate commissioner as additional charge. G. Veerapandian, V.C & M.D., A.P. Civil Supplies Corporation is placed in full additional charge of the post of Director, Civil Supplies, until further orders.
