Married woman and her lover commit suicide in Kakinada

KAKINADA: A married woman and her lover took their own lives in Jaggampeta, Kakinada district, on Monday evening.

Kannavathula Sai Prasanna, a married woman from Rangampeta, had been living in Jagananna Colony on rent for the past three years. She had developed an extramarital relationship with Pindi Nanaji, a 25-year-old from Jaggampeta. Over time, differences arose between the two as Sai Prasanna pressured Nanaji to marry her. As tensions escalated, Sai Prasanna hanged herself. Fearing the situation, Nanaji also hanged himself.

Jaggampeta sub-inspector Ragunatha Rao and ASI Nooka Raju are investigating the case.
