'Local Vs Non Local' war hearts up between TDP-YSRCP candidates at Nellore

TIRUPATI: With the polling day for the 2024 general elections closing-in, the Telugu Desam party nominee Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and the YSRCP candidate V Vijayasai Reddy for the prestigious Nellore parliament have locked horns over the "Local Vs non local" propaganda to corner each other politically.

Addressing a joint roadshow campaign along with TDP's Kandukur assembly nominee Inturi Nageswara Rao on Monday, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy said his opponent Vijayasai Reddy was a leader imported by the ruling party from Delhi.

"I'm a local and have my roots here in this district. I have ventured into politics to serve the people of Nellore district and will be accessible to them at all times. But can Vijayasai Reddy extend the same promise to the people", Vemireddy challenged.

TDP's Inturi Nageswara Rao also posed a similar challenge to his counterpart Burra Madhusudhan Yadav by alleging that the latter was imported to Kandukur from Kanigiri after the locals there rejected him due to his various illegal activities.

Both Vemireddy and Nageswara Rao promised that the Nellore parliament and the Kanigiri assembly will witness unprecedented development once the TDP led NDA alliance forms the govt in the state very soon.
