TIRUPATI: Kovur Telugu Desam party candidate and former Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams board member Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy promised to the people that she will strive hard for the comprehensive development of Dampur, Yellayapalem and other villages once the Telugu Desam party led NDA govt comes back to power in the state within just two months from now.

Addressing impressive roadshows at Dampur and Yellayapalem villages on Saturday, Prashanthi Reddy vowed to make the two villages fertile by ensuring a dedicated water supply through the east canal.

Lamenting that there was an unfortunate spike in road accidents due to the poor maintenance of roads during the YSRCP regime, the TDP nominee promised that cement roads will be laid between the Yellayapalem-Patoor-Kovur stretch once the TDP govt comes back to power.

Prashanti Reddy also blamed the official apathy for the poor drainage systems at these villages and promised that proper underground drainage systems will also be established very soon.

When the people of Dampur and Yellayapalem complained about the increase in house break-ins and thefts at the villages, the TDP candidate promised to set up a CCTV surveillance system at the village level to protect them from burglars.

Explaining about the historic necessity to pledge support for the NDA alliance, Prashanti Reddy appealed to the voters to vote for her at the Kovur assembly and for her husband Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy at the Nellore parliament constituency in the upcoming elections.
