YSRC general secretary Talasila Raghuram on Wednesday said the first public meeting will be held at Piduguralla of Gurazala assembly constituency on March 16, followed by public meetings at Narsipatnam, Nellimarla and P Gannavaram. “Party honorary president YS Vijayamma and party leader YS Sharmila will also campaign during the elections. Jagan’s schedule will be chalked out in a way so that he can cover minimum three constituencies,” he said.

He added, “During the Praja Sankalpa Yatra (pre-election campaign), 134 assembly constituencies were covered by Jaganmohan Reddy and preference will be given to the remaining places during bus yatra. That is the reason Gurazala was chosen for the launch of the election campaign.”

The ‘Navaratnas’ (YSRCP’s nine election promises) were widely talked about and the manifesto will include them and other feedback Jagan got during the interactions. The manifesto will be released soon, Raghuram said.

“Initially three public meetings are scheduled per day, the number may increase in the due course and the schedule will be announced once in three days. A helicopter will also be hired to save time and cover more ground,” Raghuram added.
