Gym trainer kills lover's brother by slitting his throat in Tirupati

TIRUPATI: A 26-year-old gym trainer killed his lover's brother by slitting his throat near Dasari matam locality in Tirupati past midnight on Tuesday.
While the deceased was identified as Chandran (22), the accused has been identified as Chenchayya (26), a resident of Parvathipuram locality in the city. According to Tirupati east CI Sivaprasad Reddy, Chenchayya and the deceased's sister Kabila (23) were in a relationship but got separated a few months ago after both their families rejected their proposal to get married.
Chenchayya who threatened the family members of his lover to refrain from getting her married, stabbed his lover's brother Chandran and later slit his throat and made him bleed to death in the late hours on Tuesday. Tirupati east police registered a case and laid a hunt for the absconding accused. They have shifted the body of the deceased for postmortem.
