4 dead, 1 injured in road accident in Andhra Pradesh

A tragic road accident near Rajahmundry claimed four lives. The incident occurred under Rajanagaram police station limits. The deceased include Uppuluri Prasad, Uppuluri Siva Leelavathi, Immanni Veera Venkata Satyavathi and Lakkamsani Bindu. Lakkamsani Suresh sustained severe injuries and is receiving treatment. A lorry, after hitting a divider, collided head-on with their car. Rajanagaram police are currently investigating the case.
4 dead, 1 injured in road accident in Andhra Pradesh
RAJAHMUNDRY: Four persons including three women were killed in a road accident near Rajahmundry under Rajanagaram police station limits on Monday. Another person has sustained severe injuries and his condition is said to be critical. The deceased persons have been identified as Uppuluri Prasad (60) belongs to Kovvur, Uppuluri Siva Leelavathi (56) belongs to Kovvur, Immanni Veera Venkata Satyavathi (75) belongs to Chagallu and Lakkamsani Bindu (34) belongs to Kovvur. Lakkamsani Suresh who sustained severe injuries has been admitted in a private hospital. Five persons were going to Kakinada from Kovvur in a car. When they reached Autonagar in the outskirts of Rajahmundry, a lorry which was coming from the opposite side hit the divider and hit the car coming on opposite direction. The lorry rammed into the car with high speed.Three persons were killed on the spot and another person died while getting treatment in the hospital. The bodies have been shifted to Government general Hospital for postmortem. Rajanagaram police are investigatingthe case.
