CJI arrives on a 2-day visit to Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh

TIRUPATI: Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud arrived on a 2 day visit to Srisailam in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
He was accompanied by his wife Kalpana Das and Supreme Court Judge Justice PS Narasimha and his family members
State minister Adimulapu Suresh, Chief secretary KS Jawahar Reddy IAS, state endowments department Principal secretary (FAC) Hari Jawaharlal IAS and other officials extended a warm welcome to CJI DY Chandrachud at Srisailam on Saturday.
The Chief Justice of India visited the Srisailam temple and offered prayers to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Brahmarambika Devi for a brief while on Saturday evening.
CJI Chandrachud will take part in a series of special rituals at the Srisailam temple on Sunday as well.
Srisailam Devasthanams officials and the Nandyal district police wing have made elaborate arrangements for CJI's two day visit to Srisailam.
