Andhra Pradesh MLA's son develops mobile app for his father to reach out to people during Covid times
TIRUPATI: At a point of time when the novel coronavirus has redefined public life and the very way we live today, Piler legislator
While it is a fact that the common man has to run from pillar to post to meet an MLA or even a mid-level government official even during the normal times, it has become even more difficult during the COVID-19 induced crisis period.

With the help of a data scientist Venkat Reddy, Sai Krishna Reddy has launched a QR based web application titled ''Manamlapileru.in'', which is integrated with the MLA's personalized android app, that features grievane redressal system, government projects-schemes related data, appointments and digitized letters.
Speaking to TOI, Sai Krishna Reddy noted that today during the COVID-times, everything has moved to the digital platform.
''During the lockdown period, I noticed that the public had great difficulties in reaching out to the government offices as well as to my father who is an MLA to get their grievances addressed. And because the difficulties continue to exist, we launched a
The mobile app is already a big hit among the denizens of Piler who are now able to get their long pending-government linked grievances just by reaching out to their MLA through the newly launched mobile app. Besides, the digital platform helps bring in transparency and accountability at all levels.
''Our next aim is to introduce efficient water management systems by making optimum use of technology and by stabilizing the water grid to ensure availability of water to the people of Piler throughout the year'', stated Sai Krishna Reddy.
