Speaking to reporters after formally launching the new vehicle, the Srikalahasti legislator said that chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the mobile veterinary hospitals with an aim to mitigate the travails of the farmers in taking their livestock to the veterinary hospitals located far off from their villages.

"Under the initiative, two mobile veterinary ambulances are allotted to every assembly constituency across the state. The state government of Andhra Pradesh has launched many initiatives for the benefit of the farming community and so far 175 veterinary ambulances have been pressed into service across the state for the benefit of the farmers", added Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy.
