Andhra Pradesh: Devotee donates Rs 4.2 crore to Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel Trust

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams's (TTD) Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel trust received a massive donation of Rs.4.2 crore from a devotee.
Ravi Ika, president and founder of RxAdvance handed over the donation money in the form of a cheque to TTD's additional EO and SVBC MD AV Dharma Reddy on Monday.
The donation will be utilised for purchasing high-end video cameras and state of the art broadcast equipment required for the 24-hour devotional channel s managed by the TTD.
Ravi Ika also promised to extend another sum of Rs.2.4 crore as donation soon to the SVBC trust.
This is the highest quantum of donation to TTD received from a single donor during the Covid times.
Meanwhile, the Union ministry of information and broadcasting has accorded uplinking and downlinking permissions for two new TTD channels to come out in Kannada and Hindu languages on Monday.
