Andhra Pradesh: Chandragiri legislator felicitates 1,150 teachers ahead of Teachers' Day

TIRUPATI: Government whip and Chandragiri legislator Dr Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy felicitated about 1,150 teachers at the Gurupujotsavam programme held ahead of the National Teachers' Day in Tirupati on Sunday.

The Chandragiri MLA noted that approximately 80 lakh teachers are engaged on a day to day basis to nurture more than 27 crore students who are the future of the country, across 15 lakh schools and more than a thousand universities across India.

TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy who took part in the program as a special guest spoke about the special bonding between the teachers and the students even in the modern India.

YSRC Rajya Sabha MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, his wife Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy, Chittoor MP Reddeppa, Tirupati SP P Parameswara Reddy and others took part.
