Though the pilgrim footfall at Tirumala remained low even on the third day of the annual Brahmotsavams on Thursday, the temple body is hopeful that the pilgrim rush will pick up and peak during the next three days.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams executive officer AV Dharma Reddy along with Anantapur range DIG M Ravi Prakash, Tirupati SP P Parameswara Reddy and TTD's chief vigilance and security officer D Narasimha Kishore inspected the pilgrim entry and exit points to the galleries near the Annaprasadam complex and other places at Tirumala on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters later TTD EO said that the temple body was making foolproof arrangements for the most important Garuda seva procession.

"While nearly 2.5 lakh devotees will be provided darshan of the Garuds seva procession from the galleries, TTD will also allow nearly 30000-40000 devotees to have a closer glimpse of the processional deity from the Harathi points along the four mada streets", AV Dharma Reddy added.
