TIRUPATI: Chittoor police arrested two persons in connection with a job consultancy fraud on Friday.
The accused were identified as G Anil Kumar Reddy (33) and Siva Kumar (26).
According to Chittoor SP Y Rishanth Reddy, the accused used to lure unemployed youngsters by promising them plum jobs in software firms.
Following a complaint lodged by one Sai Srinivas of Korlagunta in Tirupati against the duo, Chittoor crime police arrested Anil Kumar Reddy and Siva Kumar on Friday.
During the course of further investigation, it emerged that the duo had duped several youngsters of around Rs 70 lakh through their scam.
