Allahabad: Anirudh Singh Yadav assumed charge as chairman, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), here on Tuesday. He replaces officiating chairman Sunil Kumar Jain who was appointed for three months after then chairman Anil Kumar Yadav's appointment was set aside by Allahabad High Court on in October, 2015.
Addressing mediapersons, Yadav said he would 'remove anyone' who comes between him and his constitutional duty of maintaining transparency in exams.
On allegations of giving priority to a particular caste in recruitment he said, " I will remove anyone who acts as a hindrance in my carrying out my responcibilties. No casteism will be followed during appointment and I will ensure transparency." he said.
