Woman killed over same sex relationship

BAHRAICH: A woman killed another woman in Gonda on Saturday over same sex relationship.
The woman pradhan of a village killed her lover when she refused to continue the relationship.
According to police, Suman Singh, gram pradhan of Katra Shahbazpur village of Gonda district shot Deepa Singh (36), a resident of Ismailganj area of the same district.
Accused Suman said that she considered Deepa as her wife.Deepa wanted to move out of the relationship due to the pressure of her husband. The circle officer (CO) said that Suman went to the house of Deepa on Saturday and created uproar there. Later, she called her nephew Vipin Singh and shot Deepa.
The people heard the gunfire and rushed to the spot. Suman opened fire in air to terrify them.
The police reached the spot and surrounded the area. Suman and her driver Shivam Mishra were arrested. Vipin Singh managed to escape. The pistol used in the crime was also recovered.
