ALLAHABAD: A dip in the temperature has had people scurrying to hospitals with complaints like cold and flu, cracked skin, joint pain, constipation and respiratory ailments.
To fight these weather-related ailments, doctors have a word of advice. Cold and viral infections spread in changing season, said Dr Anil Kumar, adding that a majority of viral infections begin with a sore throat followed by cough, sneezing and ending in nasal discharge.

Sometimes, this leads to respiratory problems, he added.
Dr Vivek Srivastava said people must consume healthy food as this play a preventive role in changing weather scenario.
Secondly, exercise could also help people to remain fit in such weather conditions.
Consumption of plenty of water and fruit, exercise, proper sleep, ensure people keep fit in changing weather as well.
