Teacher elopes with girl student

BAHRAICH: A teacher of an intermediate college eloped with a girl student of class XII. The girl's father approached the Rupaidiha police on Tuesday. A case had been registered against the accused teacher.
The police said that Awadhesh Kumar is posted as a teacher at an intermediate college. He eloped with the girl staying near the college about a week ago.The family members searched for the girl but she could not be traced. They also went to the house of the teacher but it was found locked. The girl's contacted Rupaidiha police on Tuesday and submitted an application against Awadhesh Kumar. He is a resident of Pachpakdi village.
The police said that a case had been registered against the teacher. Efforts are being made to arrest him.
