Several new trains to pass through NCR zone

ALLAHABAD: The new trains that would pass through the North Central Railways zone include Allahabad-Mumbai AC Duranto (Biweekly), Mumbai Central-New Delhi AC Duranto (Bi-weekly), Jaipur-Agra Shatabdi Express, Gorakhpur-Yashwantpur Express (weekly) via Faizabad, Kanpur, and Kacheguda, Varanasi-Ahmedabad Express, Kolkata-Ajmer Express, via Asansol, Varanasi-Singrauli Express, Bhagalpur-Ajmer Express, Lucknow-Bhopal Express, Kolkata-Agra Express (weekly) via Kasganj and Mathura and Delhi-Puducherry Express.
The trains that have been extended in the North Central railway region include Chhindwara-Gwalior Express to Delhi (11101/11102), Jhansi-Chhindwara Express to Delhi 911103/11104), Udaipur-Gwalior Express to Khajuraho (12965/12966), Lucknow-Allahabad Express to Vindhayachal (14209/14210), Sultanpur-Ajmer Express to Ahmedabad 919603/19604), Mumbai-Allahabad Express to Faizabad via Jaunpur, Shahganj( 12563/12564) and Lucknow-Bhopal Express to Pratapgarh.
The train whose frequency have been increased include New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express from 6 days to daily.
In NCR zone, the lines that would be doubled include Tundla-Yamuna bridge, Palwal-Bhuteshwar third line and Panki-Bhaupur third line. The new lines that would be laid include Etawah-Mainpuri and Bhind-Etawah section. Further, Jhansi-Kanpur section would also be doubled.
