They also claimed that the pipeline located near Alopi Temple was broken and a section of locals had not been getting water supply for the past several weeks. "Despite repeated requests and applications, no action has been initiated till date," said Ravindra Yadav adding, "due to continuous rains, sewer line is chocked at several spots."
Senior corporator, Shiva Tripathi said, "Various sorts of diseases are spreading due to contaminated water supply." The sewer line is choked at Poora Paraiyan. The AMC authorities should initiate corrective measures and send sewer line clearing vehicle in every lane of the area, he added.
The residents have threatened to launch an agitation, if their demands were not fulfilled within the next seven days.
