The Allahabad high court on Tuesday warned its registry officials for not listing two pleas challenging the U.P. Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, which were scheduled to be heard on Tuesday.

PRAYAG RAJ: The Allahabad high court on Tuesday warned its registry officials for not listing two pleas challenging the U.P. Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, which were scheduled to be heard on Tuesday.
While hearing a plea filed by one Saurabh Kumar on similar lines challenging the Act, a division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari and Justice Piyush Agrawal noted that two other pleas were not listed as scheduled.

The court directed all the cases challenging the Act be listed and all the pleas will be heard together on October 22, 2021.
