North Central Railway Women Welfare Organisation (NCRWWO) organised a painting competition at the Officers’ Club in Subedarganj on Sunday. Several children participated in the competition and showcased their creative skills.

ALLAHABAD: North Central Railway Women Welfare Organisation (NCRWWO) organized a painting competition at the Officers’ Club in Subedarganj on Sunday. Several children participated in the competition and showcased their creative skills.
The children were divided into three age groups of 6-9 years, 9-12 years, and 12-15 years. The topics for the painting competition for the first group were ‘My house’ or ‘My favourite cartoon character.’ The topic for the second group was ‘Scene of a cricket match’ or ‘Scene of a football match’.

The topics that the children from the third group had to choose from were ‘Cigarette smoking is injurious to health,’ ‘Conservation of Earth,’ and ‘Olympic games 2012.’
Those present during the programme included NCRWWO vice president Ranjana Rawal, Dolly Mittal, Neelam Varshney, Madhulika Mathur, Afshan Kabeer, Poonam Mathur, Suman Lata Verma, Neera Shukla, Chavi Gupta, Sujata Nagayach, Charu Mathur, Neelima Singh, Mamta Rana and Madhu Verma.
