PAC jawan held for harassing woman

ALLAHABAD: A PAC personnel was held on board Prayag Raj Express on Wednesday for allegedly passing lewd remarks at a woman passenger.
According to reports, the PAC jawan, Ram Ashish, boarded S-3 coach of Prayag Raj Express at Fatehpur and sat next to a woman. The woman was traveling from New Delhi to Allahabad.
As the train passing between Fatehpur and Khaga, Ram Ashish started misbehaving with the woman and also passed lewd remarks at her.This enraged the fellow passengers who raised an alarm.
Sadguru Trikaal Bhawanta, who was travelling along with the woman, complained to the GRP personnel who were on board Pryag Raj Express. The GRP then entered S-3 coach and detained Ram Ashish.
Talking to TOI, inspector GRP VS Yadav said a of eve-teasing has been lodged against Ram Ashish. The case has been lodged under section 294,504 and 506 of IPC. Ram Ashish was later arrested and sent to jail.
