Over 3,000 treated at eye camp

ALLAHABAD: Under the aegis of Doaba Vikas Evam Utthan Samiti at town area Karari, district Kaushambi eye relief camp (cataract camp) was organized.
The team of doctors who went to the spot were Prof SP Singh, Dr AK Kaul, Dr Anand Shukla and N Rahman. Dr AK Yadav, Dr Vibudhesh, Dr Nilesh Rajwade, Nilesh Sunil and Dr Jagdish Dukre. The team of doctors examined and treated more than 3,000 patients. They also screened more than 600 patients for their cataract surgery with advance technique at MD Eye Hospital under the supervision of Prof S P Singh.
A total of 57 patients were operated on March 6, 53 patients on March 5 and 39 patients on March 4. The Samiti volunteers took care of the operated patients. The team of doctors who had operated the cataract patients were Prof S P Singh, Dr Mayank Srivastava, Dr Rajiv Kumar, Dr Aparajita Chaudhary, Dr Santosh Kumar, Dr A K Kaul, Dr Prabodh Kumar, Dr Anand Shukla, Dr Vibudhesh, Dr A K Yadav and Dr B K Singh.
