Ordinance depot gets best unit citation

ALLAHABAD: Proving itself to be one of the best units in the entire Central Command, Ordinance Depot Fort has secured the Unit Citation from Lt Gen V K Ahluwalia, GOC-in-C, Central Command. The citation was received by Ordinance Depot Fort's Commandant Col S S Sanawan. This citation is awarded to the best units of Central Command on the basis of its excellent performance during the year.
Ordinance Depot Fort is the only regional depot of Central Command providing Ordinance stores to approximately 1,100 units. To fulfil this gigantic task it has a dedicated workforce consisting of approximately 2,500 combatant and civilians.
