No crime against women in UP: Dy CM
Prayagraj: Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Thursday that “daydreams” of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav will be shattered in 2027 elections and he will be sent packing back to Saifai. He said, "If people of West Bengal cast their vote fearlessly, BJP is poised to achieve a historic victory in their state assembly polls.”Maurya said, “Primary agenda of Samajwadi Party is to sow discord within society. In the present regime In UP, no crime against women, will go unpunished and stern action will be taken.Maurya said Akhilesh is consumed by the anguish of being out of power and he will remain so all the way up to 2047—regardless of whether he contests elections alone or in alliance with the Congress or other party. Samajwadi Party, he said, can only jeopardise security of UP and lead to mass exodus of people from the state. Party workers present on the occasion included Mrityunjay Tiwari, Pawan Srivastava and Vivek Mishra.
