New mayor holds janata darbar, directs officials to solve issues

Prayagraj: City’s newly elected mayor Ganesh Kesawani on Thursday held a “janata darbar” at Kydhanj and listened to the grievances of as many as 232 people. The mayor then talked to department officials concerned and directed them to solve the problems of citizens promptly. “People of the city have elected me as jan sevak and I will be making my best efforts to solve their problems. I will also make efforts to take feedback from the public once their problems are solved,” Kesarwani said. During the Janata darbar, he was accompanied by newly elected BJP corporators Mukesh Kasera, OP Dwivedi, Sanjay Kumar, Rajesh Kesarwani, Ashish Dwivedi, Manish Kesarwani and Ayush Agrahari. They gave a patient hearing to grievances related to water, civic amenities and power among others. The mayor also visited Shivganga Ashram at Jhunsi and sought blessings of Govardhan Math Puripeetham Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Swarasti Ji Maharaj.
