Muslim women sport lotus mehndi in support of PM Narendra Modi
PRAYAGRAJ: A group of Muslim female fans of PM Modi, popularly known 'Modi Brigade', have sported lotus, the BJP symbol, along with 'Main Hoon Modi Ka Parivar', 'BJ par', Vote for Modi and Modi and Yogi slogans in mehndi patterns to express support to PM in parliamentary polls. A group of five women from Muslim community, applied special lotus mehndi to promote BJP in minority dominated pockets of the city.
The Muslim women activists of minority morcha led by Nighat Khan has taken extensive campaigning in 26 wards of the city - majority of Muslim dominated to gain the support for BJP. Nighat, who is also district secretary of BJP's minority morcha, told TOI, "The female fans of Modi, and many other members of minority morcha, have decided to extend support the PM Modi by applying Lotus mehndi on their hands.
Around 100 women party workers of minority morcha have taken up campaign for party candidate Praveen Patel, contesting from Phulpur parliamentary seat, in City West and City north assembly segments including Muslim dominated pockets including Chakia, Atala, Kasari Masarai, Gadda colony, Gaus Nagar and adjoining areas. The BJP minority morcha is covering at least 40 to 50 houses every day to spread the word among Muslim women voters about Modi's policies favouring them. The women tolis are highlighting how PM envisioned their empowerment by advocating equal education opportunity for them apart from banning triple talaq.

Banning triple taalaq was the right thing to do for anyone and Modi saw and took that opportunity .But tgat does not cover his hatred for the Muslins and has tried to fan hatred between Muslims and Hindus .Read allPost comment
