More activists come out in support of Anna Hazare

Activists under the banner of Voice of Young India held a meeting at CMP degree College, Law campus, on Wednesday to extend support to social activist Anna Hazare who is sitting on an indefinite fast demanding changes in the Lokpal bill.

ALLAHABAD: Activists under the banner of Voice of Young India held a meeting at CMP degree College, Law campus, on Wednesday to extend support to social activist Anna Hazare who is sitting on an indefinite fast demanding changes in the Lokpal bill.
Meeting convenor Shiva Tripathi said the Lokpal bill should be passed in Parliament soon to put a tab over corruption in politics, society and administration.
On the other hand, members of Art of Living foundation and India Against Corruption also observed a fast at Collectorate campus on Wednesday expressing support for the movement started by Anna Hazare.
A member of the foundation, Shashank Shekhar Tripathi, who started a fast from Wednesday, said: "Corruption in public life needs to be checked as it is affecting the development of the country.
He added that unless such measures are not taken corruption would continue to plague the country.
