Mills to start sugar extraction this month

The sugar mills of the district would start the extraction of sugar this month, District magistrate Pinki Jowel informed the same to the farmers in a kisan-fair.

BAHRAICH: The sugar mills of the district would start the extraction of sugar this month. District magistrate informed the same to the farmers in a kisan-fair held at agriculture science centre. DM Pinki Jowel said to the scientists and the officers of the agriculture department to introduce the farmers to such persons who could be the inspiration for farmers and in this regard he mentioned about a progressive farmer of Sultanpur Anant Kumar Singh.

The DM instructed the electricity, canal, irrigation department to sort the problems of irrigation and added that no laxity would be entertained in this case. She also advised the farmers to start the co-farming of urad, wheat, and moong along with cane and thereby enhance their earning.
The deputy director agriculture AK Singh told the farmers to use the balanced fertiliser by examining the soil and adopt the modern agriculture machines and bio-fertiliser because this can help the district to achieve the target of agriculture production.
The district agriculture officer Ravichandra Prakash told that the availability of wheat, maize, matar, masoor, lahi etc have been ensured. The district cane officer said that all the sugar mills of the district would start extraction of sugar within November.
