Man kills elder brother by pushing him off terrace in Prayagraj

PRAYAGRAJ: A man allegedly pushed his elder brother from the terrace, causing his death, in a dispute over a one-inch strip of land in Panchdevra village of Nawabganj in Prayagraj on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Prakash Babu Kesarwani (56), a resident of Panchdevra. Police have arrested the accused younger brother Subhash Kesarwani (52).
Nawabganj police inspector Anoop Singh told TOI, "Prakash and Subhash were at loggerheads over placing of bricks on the terrace. There was a heated argument which took an ugly turn when Subhash pushed his elder brother off the terrace, causing his death on the spot."
Singh added, "Family members of the deceased named Subhash, his wife Manju and their sons Aman and Suraj in the FIR as accused and claimed that Prakash's son Saurabh too sustained injuries after being assaulted by Subhash and his sons." The other accused will also be arrested soon, he added.
