Man beaten to death in Jhunsi

Prayagraj: A 35-year-old man was beaten to death allegedly by a group of miscreants at the village under the limits of Jhunsi police station late Thursday night, police said. The incident took place when Mahendra Yadav, a resident of Badra Sunauti, along with his wife and niece had gone to attend a wedding of one SK Patel’s daughter. Police said while his wife returned after dinner, Mahendra stayed back with his friends. However, late in night, Mahendra was attacked by some persons using kitchen utensils following some tiff. Mahendra’s elder brother in his complaint said Mahendra sustained serious injuries on face and forehead and died on the spot.He accused Putaru Yadav, Musasar Yadav alias Amar Yadav, Ram Achal Yadav and several others for beating his brother to death. Police said an FIR has been lodged and three named accuse have been detained.
