Maha Kumbh 2025: Yog Guru Baba Ramdev conducts free yoga therapy, meditation camp in Prayagraj
NEW DELHI: The grand religious congregation at Prayagraj's Triveni Sangam is witnessing a massive influx of devotees for the Maha Kumbh. Various events are taking place as part of the celebrations, including a free yoga therapy and meditation camp led by Yog Guru Baba Ramdev.
The session was graced by the presence of 7th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche.
The Maha Kumbh Media Centre has announced that Union home minister Amit Shah will visit Prayagraj for a day to participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
The release indicates Shah's arrival in Prayagraj at 11.25am on Monday, followed by a sacred bath at Triveni Sangam. His itinerary includes visits to Bade Hanuman Ji Temple and Abhayvat.

The minister's schedule encompasses a visit to Juna Akhara for interactions and lunch with the Maharaj and other saints.
His programme also includes stops at Guru Sharananand Ji's Ashram for meetings with Guru Sharananand Ji and Govind Giri Ji Maharaj, concluding with an audience with the Shankaracharyas of Sringeri, Puri, and Dwaraka.
The Maha Kumbh, which began on January 13 with Paush Purnima, has recorded over 110 million devotees performing sacred ablutions at Prayagraj within the initial fortnight, as noted on Sunday.
On Sunday, Bageshwar Dham Chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri had an encounter with Swami Chidanand Saraswati, who leads Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
Bageshwar Dham Chief Shastri stated: "This is a Sangam of Triveni, of saints, devotees, masters, and masters and devotees. Swami Chidanand Maharaj is holding a Mahasangam of all the saints in Maha Kumbh."
"On January 30th, a Dharm Sansad will be held for the nation and the awakening of Hindutva... It is a unique experience that goes beyond imagination. All the saints and Mahatmas here are chanting and even when some of them don't have any facilities," he added.
Olympic medallist MC Mary Kom expressed her contentment at participating in the Maha Kumbh, stating: "I am very happy that I could be a part of this Kumbh Mela. The arrangements are so good, I have no words."
Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav performed sacred ablutions at Maha Kumbh during his Prayagraj visit on Sunday.
Yadav remarked: "People come here with their faith. I took 11 holy dips. There is no place for divisive and negative politics. The day I took a dip at Haridwar--that day was a festival. Today, I got the opportunity to take a holy dip here."
The duodecennial Maha Kumbh is anticipated to welcome devotees from January 13 to February 26.
The Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the now-extinct Saraswati rivers converge, draws pilgrims seeking spiritual purification and moksha through sacred immersion.
This significant Sanatan Dharma event, occurring during an auspicious celestial alignment, is expected to host more than 45 crore visitors, establishing a significant milestone in India's history.
