Lawyers flay politicisation of bar body

ALLAHABAD: A meeting of Yuvajan Adhivakta Sangh was held under the presidentship of Krishna Gopal Pandey at the district court campus on Friday. The speakers flayed the attempts being made by a section of lawyers to convert the District Court Lawyers Association into a political platform.
Pandey warned such lawyers to refrain from doing so. Such acts harm the interest of the litigants and also affect the livelihood of lawyers.
The members resolved not to create hindrance in judicial work and continue with their daily activities in an organised manner.
They also appealed to the members of the legal fraternity not to disturb judicial functioining.
