Prayagraj: Expressing concern over the increasing pendency as well as problems relating to listing of cases, the lawyers of Allahabad High Court abstained from judicial work on the second day on Thursday.
The lawyers of high court have been boycotting work on a call given by Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA).
The Chief Justice through a video conferencing along with other senior judges of high court met a delegation of high court lawyers and discussed the problems and assured to resolve them within a week.
According to joint secretary press, Ashutosh Tripathi, later a meeting of HCBA was held under the presidentship of Radha Kant Ojha, the president of HCBA, which was conducted by the secretary SD Singh Jadaun.
In the meeting, it was resolved to continue to boycott the judicial work on Friday.
