Prayagraj: After a gap of two years, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) will organise three-day annual cultural fest- Effervescence on Jhalwa campus from December 8 to 10.
According to institute’s public relation officer (PRO) Pankaj Mishra: “Many top artists will be star attraction of the cultural fest. Stalwarts, including Samay Raina, underground authority,
Ash King and Darshan Raval will be electrifying the environment on December 8, 9 and 10 respectively”.
They will rev the students up and keep the spirit of Effervescence alive, he added.
Effervescence is one of the largest cultural fests in North India having its success trailing from the past 17 years. A Kavi Sammelan will be organised by student body- Gymkhana on December 7.
Events like flashmob, futsal, pitthu, tug of war, gully cricket, dumb charades etc have already taken place. Fashion show Ala Mod will be organised on December 10, he said.
