HC junks plea against PSC chief appointment

Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court on Friday dismissed a writ petition challenging the appointment of Anirudh Singh Yadav as the chairman of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).

Dismissing the writ petition filed by one Jiledar Singh of Fatehpur district, a division bench comprising Justice Krishna Murari and Justice Radhvendra Kumar held that the petitioner did not disclose any reason or material for interference by the court. Therefore, it appeared that the allegations are vague in nature. Therefore, the court cannot interfere, hence the writ petition is dismissed, the court added.
