FIR lodged against students

ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad University has lodged an FIR against two students with the Colonelganj police station.
The FIR has been lodged regarding Thursday incident at the campus wherein a group of students of Arabic and Persian department manhandled with the vice-chancellor Prof AK Singh and obstructed his entry into his office. The incident occurred when a group of students had come to meet the VC.
When Prof Singh arrived at the portico and went ahead to enter his office, the group misbehaved with him. AU has lodged an FIR against Irfan Ahamad Ansari of BA-III and Mohammad Gulam, a former student of AU. However no arrest has been made in the case.
