Ex-army official's wife missing, probe begins

ALLAHABAD: The police on Sunday started probe into mysterious disappearance of the wife of a retired army official. The woman, Alka Pandey, went missing from Tagoretown under Georgetown police station on Friday night.
Station Officer, Georgetown, Ravi Bhushan Srivastava said a case under section 364 of IPC has been lodged against unidentified persons regarding the incident.
SO added that Alka along with her domestic help went to the market on Friday. She dropped back the domestic help at home and drove her car towards an unidentified location. When she did not return, her husband JP Pandey lodged an FIR with the police.
