ALLAHABAD: A delegation of corporators met the divisional commissioner on Friday and urged him that the land acquired by the Allahabad Development authority in Georgetown should be developed as a park.
Member of the delegation, Umesh Dwivedi apprised the divisional commissioner that people of the Georgetown had deposited the money for development of this land as a park and therefore a park should come up on the piece of the land.

The land is situated between the Liddle and CY Chintamani Road Crossing in the Georgetown locality of the city. The corporators urged that Allahabad development Authority should invest the money for development the land as park otherwise it would amount to rights of the people.
The divisional commissioner patiently heard the complaints of the corporators and promised him to take positive action on the issue. The corporators who participated in the delegation included Shiv Sewak Singh, Shiva Tripathi, Anand Ghildiyal and Chandra Prakash.
