Prayagraj:The Sangam city has immense possibilities for being developed as industrial hub. It has potential to generate employment. Industries can grow and sustain for a long time. Besides, there is no dearth of human resource in Sangam city. Vice Chancellor (VC) of Prof Rajendra State University (PRSU), Prayagraj Prof Akhilesh Kumar Singh shared these views during the first national conclave of HR ‘Sangam-2023’ of Prayagraj organized by United Group of Institutions (UGI), Prayagraj, at United Auditorium, on Saturday.

NCRs Prayagraj div tops in chain pulling cases
The Prayagraj division of North Central Railway (NCR) has the highest number of cases of chain pulling and illegal food vendors on platforms. Between August and the first week of September, 318 people were fined for chain pulling without a valid reason, and 133 vendors were fined for violating norms. The Railway Protection Force formed teams to crack down on such cases. Sangam City to get direct train to Somnath in Gujarat from Sept 13
Indian Railways is set to operate a train between Banaras and Veraval Junction via Prayagraj, providing direct connectivity for passengers wanting to visit the famous Somnath Jyotirlinga in Gujarat. The train will cover the distance from Prayagraj to Veraval in just over 28 hours, with stops at various stations along the way. This new train route will eliminate the need for passengers to go through Ahmedabad or Junagadh to reach their destination. The train will have multiple classes of accommodation, including sleepers and AC coaches.
