Volunteers would appeal `kanwariyas' not to enter in deep water at river Ganga and take care while taking a holy dip at Sangam. As there is heavy water flow at Sangam due to monsoon rains, volunteers would be offering a helping hand to `kanwariyas' and asking them to safeguard their valuables as well.
A campaign would also be taken effectively that no one could pick up any unclaimed objectionable object like bag, suitcase, transistor and mobile and police officials and civil defence personnel would be present there to maintain a close watch on crowdy days.
Besides, there would be proper cleaning of ghats, adequate light arrangements and potable water services for the ‘kanwariyas', claimed volunteers. The eminent persons who attended the meeting included RP Mishra, additional deputy controller, Ravi Kumar, Neeraj Mishra, KK Pathak, Madhubala, Dukan Ji and others.
