Allahabad: Preparations are on in full swing ahead of Chaitra Navratra being celebrated from April 8 to 19. Extra booking and enquiry counters have opened up at Vindhyachal station. Besides, important trains are being given stoppages during the auspicious fasting period. Extra coaches will also be added to the trains.
Talking to TOI, public relations officer of NCR, said, "We are making arrangements at the station so that pilgrims thronging Vindhyavasini Mandir do not face any problem."
The trains that have been given stoppage for about one minute at Vindhyachal station, include Bengaluru City-Patna Sanghamitra Express, Puri- New Delhi Puroshattam Express, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Patna Superfast Express, Howrah-Jodhpur Express, Lokmanya Tilak terminus-Bhagalpur Express, Lokmaya Tilak terminus-Guwahati Express, Jogbani-Anand Vihar terminal Seemanchal Express, Brahmaputra Mail and Dadar Express.

These trains will stop at Vindhychal station from April 8 to 19. In addition to this, two additional general coaches will be augmented in train number 54103/54104 Allahabad-Chunar passenger and train number 54106/54105 Allahabad-Mughalsarai passenger.
These coaches will be added to the trains.
